No. A doctor’s referral is not required to book an appointment. However, some extended health insurance plans may require one for reimbursement. We recommend checking with your insurance provider if you’re unsure.

Do you offer direct billing?

Yes. We offer direct billing to many major insurance providers whenever possible. Coverage varies between plans, so any remaining balance is the client’s responsibility.

How do I book an appointment?

What should I wear to my appointment?

For most massage treatments, you’ll undress to your comfort level. Professional draping is always used, and only the area being treated will be uncovered. If you’re receiving a treatment that doesn’t require undressing, your therapist will let you know beforehand.

Is parking available?

Yes. Free parking is available on-site for your convenience.

Where are you located?

Body Balance Massage is located inside The Skinthetics Collective Studios at 169 Lansdowne Street East in Peterborough, Ontario. When you arrive, look for the welcome sign inside the building.

Can I request a specific therapist?

Absolutely. You can choose your preferred therapist when booking online, subject to availability.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Missed appointments (no-shows) will be charged 100% of the scheduled treatment fee.
